About Jexia Platform
What is a Jexia project?
A project is an isolated environment with a set of services such as dataset, fileset, a database and authentication and authorization mechanisms which can be used to develop multi-platform applications.
How many projects can I have in my account?
You can have as many projects as you want, but you can just have 3 projects running simultaneously in development mode. In order to have more projects in development mode, you can move projects to production mode.
Where and how much data can I store on the Jexia platform?
Files will be stored on AWS S3. There are different packages available for different storage sizes. There will be a fair use policy for the free tier.
Is there any deadline or time slot for my project to be in Development Mode?
No, you can take as much time as you need to develop your project in Jexia Platform. We know that this race is against the clock, so we are here to help develop your applications easier and faster than ever before.
Privacy and security
How can I get ownership over my data, when I decide to leave the platform?
We assure you that you always will have ownership over your own data. This means that it will always be possible to export your data. We suggest that in order to get access to your data you make a GET requests to your datasets before you delete your account
What happens to my data when I delete my account?
When you delete your account, all your data will be deleted with it. No backups are created so it will not be possible to recover your data.
How is my data secured?
Yes, your data is stored in an isolated environment where only the project owner will have access to the data by SSL encrypted connection.
Security is by nature a part of our company culture, we focus on providing a secure environment that goes above and beyond industry security standards and guidelines
Pricing and Account
What does “free” exactly mean?
You can use Jexia Platform in Development Mode for free as long as it takes. As soon as your project is production-ready you will start paying a monthly fee. There is a plan for different situations. We are sure that there will be one that fits your needs.
What does Development Mode mean?
Development Mode means that your project is not publicly accessible and available, but only in your development environment. You can take the necessary time to build your application and use all Jexia’s solutions.
What does Production Mode mean?
Production Mode means that your project is accessible, available, and ready to be used by the public. It means that you have tested your project thoroughly and it is now ready to go live and receive traffic.
When should I pay and how much?
You will only pay when you are ready to publish your project and move it to production. There are multiple plans. Choose the plan that suits your situation the best. When you are running out of resources it is always possible to upgrade your plan.
Are there storage and bandwidth limits?
Every plan has its own storage and bandwidth limits. If you exceed these limits you will have to upgrade to a higher plan.
What happens if I cross the limits?
Before you exceed your package, you will receive an email warning you about this. Do not jeopardize your project and your users, and upgrade your package.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my subscription at any time?
- You can upgrade your subscription to a higher plan when you are running out of resources.
- You can downgrade to a lower plan as long as you didn’t use more resources than the lower plan allows you to use. This should be done through our Support and Success Team.
- In order to cancel (stop paying), you will need to delete your project and your data. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
